Jorge graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Psychology from Florida International University. He is currently enrolled in the College of Law at Florida International University where he has made Deans List. He spent four months interning under Hon. Gina Beovides in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Coral Gables. He is fluent in Spanish and has been with the firm since May, 2017.
Linda Larrea received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1992, where she served as President of the Latin American Law Students Association and was the founder of the Street Law Clinic, which later received federal funding. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami in 1989.
Ms. Larrea started her career as an attorney at one of the world’s leading law firms, Baker & McKenzie, where she handled complex real estate and corporate matters with an emphasis on a European clientele.
Ms. Larrea also worked as an attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where she handled a wide variety of transactions involving institutional clients, individual developers and investors.
Yaima Garcia graduated with a B.A. in Spanish Arts and Letters from the University of Havana in 1988. For more than 20 years she worked in publishing as an editor, for books focused on arts, literature, & movies. In 2009 she immigrated to the United States, and in 2013 she joined Larrea and Ortega, and is also in charge of our Spanish language outreach.
Vida graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Barry University in 2012. She is also a graduate of Florida International University’s Paralegal Program. Vida has worked as paralegal for a total of 11 YEARS. She is happily back with Larrea & Ortega after an 8-year hiatus where she alternated between running her own business and taking care of her small children. She is fluent in English, Spanish, some Sign language, and French.
Ms. Larrea’s legal experience has encompassed all aspects of a complex real estate practice, representing clients in joint ventures, construction and permanent lending, and many other areas of real property and corporate practice.
Ms. Larrea has also structured transactions using diverse legal entities such as general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and foreign corporations. She has represented a large number of foreign entities in the United States and has conducted due diligence, organized closings and rendered legal opinions in connection with a variety of real estate and corporate transactions.
She also has significant experience in the development process, including the initial acquisition of raw land, establishment of infrastructure, subdivision of property, project construction and the sale of platted lots. Concurrent with the development process, Ms. Larrea also has structured several property owners associations and has drafted accompanying declarations of restrictive covenants.
Ms. Larrea is fluent in Spanish and Italian, and conversational in French. She was director of the Family Resource Center and has been involved in the Dade Community Foundation and the Leukemia Society of Florida. Ms. Larrea is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
Aileen Ortega received her Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in 1992 where she served as an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, with Honors, from the University of Florida in 1989. While at the University of Florida, Ms. Ortega served as a councilman for the Business Administration College Student Council and as Chairperson of the Conduct Board. She also received the Outstanding Minority Student Scholar Award in 1989.
Having started her career as an attorney at one of the largest corporate law firms in Florida, Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Ms. Ortega has handled complex property matters for major clients involving millions of dollars. She also worked as an attorney at Shutts & Bowen LLP, the oldest law firm in Miami, where she was exposed to transactions involving large,
established, institutional clients.
Ms. Ortega is fluent in Spanish and is a Board Member of the City of Coral Gables School and Community Relations Board, is active in fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and is a member of the Coral Gables Women’s Club.
Aileen Ortega is a real estate attorney that has represented a wide variety of clients over her 25 year career:
Developers: Aileen assists developers and investors in their acquisition, development, operation and sales of real estate projects, including condominiums and homeowners associations. She focuses on understanding the developer’s unique concerns and assisting in all aspects of a development.
Foreign Investors in Real Estate: She represents many foreign clients concerning their real estate investments in the State of Florida, and helps structure the transactions as to avoid or limit the special tax implications of foreign investments.
Landlords and Tenants: Aileen represents Landlords and Tenants in negotiating all types of leases from shopping centers to Class A office buildings and drafting form leases for building managers to use.
Financial Institutions: She represents financial institutions, including foreign financial institutions and private lenders in a wide variety of real estate loans (including revolving credit lines, construction loans, conduit loans, mortgage loans, workouts, loan modifications, and residential loans).
Sellers and Purchasers of Real Estate: Aileen represents Sellers and Purchasers of Real Estate in all aspects of a transaction including financing and title insurance. Her affiliated title agency, Cambridge Title & Closing Services, Inc. is an agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, WFG National Title Insurance Company and North American Title Insurance Company, and can provide title insurance policies for owners and lenders.
Michelle has been working in the title services industry for over 17 years. She is an expert in the field and the General Manager of the office. She is a favorite of many real estate professionals. Michelle is a native Floridian and graduated from Killian High School.

Gabriel Delgado was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He was Vice President of his graduating class of Christopher Columbus High School. He is currently attending Florida International University, where he is pursuing a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Real Estate. He aspires to achieve a JDMBA. Gabriel has been working at Larrea and Ortega since June of 2015.
